• Features: The MTL5017 is a dual-channel digital/NAMUR signal input safety barrier with a line fault alarm (LFD) function. Each channel is equipped with an output relay, which can isolate and transmit digital signals or NAMUR signals from hazardous areas to safe areas. It also monitors line status and issues an alarm when a line fault occurs.

• Technical parameters: Its alternative product MTL5517 has an input impedance and output impedance of 220Ω, a maximum input voltage of 250V, a maximum output current of 250mA, and an operating temperature range of - 40°C to + 70°C, with an IP67 rating, it's assumed the MTL5017 has similar technical specifications.

• Installation: The MTL5000 series is usually installed using DIN rail.

• Application Fields: It is suitable for process control systems, discrete control systems, fire alarm systems, safety systems, etc. It can be used in industrial fields with explosive hazardous environments such as petroleum, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
