MTL5061 is a product in the MTL5000 series, which is an intrinsically safe isolation barrier launched by MTL to make system layout and installation easier.

• Features: The MTL5061 is a two-channel, loop-powered fire/smoke detector interface for use in conventional fire detection systems in hazardous areas. When a detector is triggered, it causes a corresponding change in the safe-area circuit. The device features reverse input polarity protection and can provide "no-fault" ground fault detection on either line by connecting a leakage detector to terminals 3 or 6.

• Technical parameters: The operating temperature range is - 20℃ to + 60℃, the maximum ambient temperature is 60℃, and the maximum voltage is 250V. The input rating is 35V DC maximum, 0.8mA maximum, and the maximum allowed voltage is 60V. Field connection parameters are 28V, 300Ω, 93mA.

• Certification: ATEX certified, certification number BAS 01 ATEX 7160, complies with Ex na (ia) IIC T4A standard, and can be used in Zone 0, IIC hazardous area.

• Installation method: It adopts the clamping installation method and can be quickly installed on the 35mm standard DIN rail. The safe area and hazardous area wiring adopt simple plug-in terminal blocks, which is easy to connect and maintain.

• Application Fields: It can be used in chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, electric power and other industrial fields to connect fire or smoke detectors to achieve signal isolation and transmission of fire detection and alarm systems in hazardous areas.
