• Communication Protocol: Supports FDT/DTM communication protocol and can connect with various DCS management software using communication modules that adopt different protocols to form a HART management system.

• Technical parameters: The address is selected by the switch on the top of the module. One interface module can connect 16 field signals. Communication baud rates include 1.2, 9.6, 19.2, and 38.4 kb/s, set by the MTL4841's top switch. This module is SIL3 certified, ensuring high safety and reliability.

• Installation method: Usually installed on the MTL BPHM64 isolation safety barrier base plate, the base plate is installed using a DIN rail. One BPHM64 baseboard can be installed with 4 MTL4842 modules.

• Application Fields: Widely used in chemical, petrochemical, water treatment, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, electric power and other fields to realize the collection and transmission of HART signals between safe areas and hazardous areas.
