MTL safety barrier MTL4041B is an analog input isolation barrier in the MTL4000 series. The following is its introduction:

• Technical Parameters: Single-channel design, input signal is 4-20mA, suitable for 2-wire or 3-wire smart transmitters. The output signal is 4-20mA with a conversion accuracy better than 20μA. The isolation voltage between the safe and hazardous areas is 250V AC, the supply voltage is 20-35V DC, and the power consumption is 1.2W.

• Installation method: The MTL4041B has a thickness of 16mm and can be installed on the MTL4500 series baseboards, which are available in 4, 8, 16, and 24 Multiple options, including individual components, facilitate expansion and configuration. It can also be directly connected to some DCS I/O cards via multi-core plugs and cables, making installation and removal more convenient.

• Application Fields: Widely used in industrial fields with explosive hazardous environments such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, and electric power, for converting 4-20mA current into a voltage drop in hazardous areas. After isolation and conversion, the analog signal is transmitted to the control system in the safe area, and power is provided for the smart transmitter at the same time.
