• Features: This device has essentially the same functionality as the MTL4546, accepting a 4-20mA floating signal from a safe-area controller to drive current/pressure transducers or other loads up to 800Ω in hazardous areas. It is suitable for 4-20mA HART valve positioners, allowing bidirectional transmission of digital communication signals. It features line fault detection, but only provides open-circuit detection, not short-circuit detection. When an open-circuit fault is detected, the current entering the terminals drops to a preset level.

• Technical Parameters: The transmission accuracy is generally high, and it can accurately transmit analog signals. The power supply range is generally 20-35V DC. It adopts a three-terminal isolation design for input/output/power supply, which has good isolation performance and strong anti-interference ability. The power consumption is low, and the adaptable temperature range is generally -20℃ to 60℃, and the humidity range is 0-95%.

• Installation method: The safety barrier is 16 mm thick and is installed on a base plate. The base plate has a variety of options such as 4, 8, 16, and 24 components, and can be directly connected to some DCS I/O through multi-core plugs and cables. The safety barrier is connected to the base plate using a new type of mounting clip, which allows for quick installation/disassembly without any tools.

• Application Fields: Widely used in industrial fields such as electric power, petroleum, petrochemical, cement, environmental protection, and metallurgy, it can realize the safe isolation and transmission of analog signals between safe areas and hazardous areas.
