The MTL safety barrier MTL5011B is a single-channel switch / NAMUR signal input safety barrier in the MTL5000 series. The following is its detailed introduction:

• Technical Specifications: The hazardous area input complies with NAMUR/DIN 19234 and provides 7 to 9V (from a 1k±10% resistor) to the proximity detector. The safe-zone output is a relay with a changeover contact. The relay has a maximum response time of 10ms and a contact rating of 250V AC, 2A (cosφ > 0.7) or 40V DC, 2A (resistive load). Phase reversal and line fault detection functions are selectable via a top switch, and line faults are indicated by an LED. The open-circuit alarm activates when the input current Iin < 100µA and deactivates when Iin > 250µA. The short-circuit alarm activates when the resistance Rin < 100Ω and deactivates when Rin > 360Ω. Maximum current consumption is 40mA at 20V, 35mA at 24V, and 25mA at 35V. Maximum power dissipation is 0.75W at 24V and 0.8W at 35V. Isolation voltage between power supply, hazardous area circuits and relay outputs is 250V AC or DC.
