MTL safety barrier MTL5014 is a switch input safety barrier. The following is its introduction: Product Features Compact modular design: It adopts a compact modular design structure with plug-in connection terminals. The safety zone signal is directly connected to the base plate.

Product Features

• Signal One Input Two Output: The input is connected to terminals 1 and 2, and the output is one input and two outputs, which can be connected to terminals 8, 9 or 11, 12. However, one of the outputs is a switch output, and the other is an LFD alarm output.

• Technical parameters

  • Hazardous area input: Conforms to BS EN 60947-5-6:2001 standard (NAMUR) for proximity detectors, the voltage applied to the sensor is 7 to 9V DC from a 1kΩ±10% supply.
  • Input and output characteristics: If the input current is greater than 2.1mA (the resistance in the input circuit is less than 2kΩ), the output is closed; if the input current is less than 1.2mA (the resistance in the input circuit is greater than 10kΩ), the output is disconnected.

  • Application Fields: Widely used in industrial fields that require electrical isolation and safety protection, such as electric power, chemical industry, and metallurgy.
